Review

When I was a child I used to buy Superman comics and read them with my friends; by now those days are gone, and as everything is changing, the way of reading comics is not an exception. Nowadays you can get many comic files ready to download from Internet. And of course, if you want to enjoy your favorite comics, you will need a special viewer for that.

CoView is a simple and free comic viewer where you will be able to watch and read your favorite comics, and remember those funny moments from your childhood (like me). This excellent viewer will let you to open CBR (Comic Book Rar) and CBZ (Comic Book Zip) files easily. But those are not the only extensions supported by CoView, the program will also be able to open files with the following extensions: bmp, jpg, gif, png, ico, dib, and wmf. One Interesting feature is that CoView can read images from rar and zip files without uncompressing them.

CoView has a cleaning interface without many buttons, so you will be able to enjoy your comics in a clean screen. There are other characteristics that will make more interactive your comic reading and can be activated from the information window pressing F1 or making a right click on any part of the screen.
Advantages
  • Easy to use interface.
Disadvantages
  • It opens in full screen mode only.
